BEGINNING WITH A DINNER RECEPTION ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 27TH, WHICH LEADS INTO AN OPUS-MEDICA PLANNING ROUNDTABLE ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28TH—WE INVITE YOU TO THE FOUNDING SESSIONS OF OPUS-MEDICA INITIATIVE AND CAMPAIGN.
THIS TWO-DAY EVENT, TAKING PLACE IN WASHINGTON, DC BEGINS THE GROUNDWORK FOR ITS GOVERNING AND OPERATIONS, BYLAWS, AND SELECTION OF FOUNDING OFFICERS.

As we live, work, and raise our families here in America, we are proud of our contributions. We are recognized and rewarded by our patients, employers, and peers—and we are grateful to our chosen profession and to this country that has offered us such opportunity and belonging. Truly, we are blessed.
Yet, we are also aware that public dialogue around immigration is often complex, sometimes confusing, and at-times unsettling. Too often, the invaluable role of physicians and healthcare professionals who serve and heal here—from around the world—are overlooked in these conversations.
This is why we are launching the Opus-Medica Coalition.
Opus-Medica—a coalition of medical associations and allies—seeks to showcase our essential contributions as physicians and healthcare workers of all backgrounds. Our goal is to affirm, with optimism and goodwill, that medicine transcends boundaries. Through clear facts, lived examples, and a public campaign that celebrates our collective service, we aim to ensure that our collective voices are heard, acknowledged, and help inform policymaking.
We have much to do.

The Opus-Medica Strategic Roundtable, which takes place on Capitol Hill, has very few viable hotels options.
